Melbourne Skydeck

Melbourne Skydeck is the highest observation point in Southern Hemisphere. The tower is situated in the heart of Riverside Quay. Skydeck is more than just a viewpoint; the experience, through augmented reality technology, informs and entertains the spectator about Melbourne and its rich history. Located at the top floor of Eureka Tower, the building boasts a height of 297.3 meters and is the third tallest building in Australia and the fifteenth highest residential building in the world. Designed by Melburnian architect Fender Katsalidis, the construction began in 2002 and officially opened to the public on the 11th of October 2006.
