Tamarama Beach

Once Australia’ main LGBTQ beach it has become a surfing Mecca instead. Just 80m in length it it has a really long sand tongue and is one of the best beaches to bask in the sun and do surfing. Be careful of going for a swim since waves can be really humongous and rip currents are dangerous. It is hard to believe but in late 19th century it featured a real roller coaster peeking right over the tide with gusts of seawater gushing right into your face while you were zipping around.
